Find your computers
Discover compatible Ramster instances on your local network. Connect peers and inspect the capabilities they report.
An engine for trusted computers working together. Discover their capabilities, move files directly, and run compatible compute across your local network.
Connect trusted computers, move files directly, and see what each device can contribute to compatible work.

One Windows installer. Setup prepares the required components, starts Ramster, and opens your local dashboard when it is ready.
Internet access is needed for first-time setup. No ZIP extraction or terminal commands.
Open the downloaded Ramster-1.0.0-Setup.exe.
Keep the setup window open while it prepares Ramster. Windows may ask for permission to allow local-network connections.
Ramster runs in the background. Use the Ramster Start Menu shortcut to return to your dashboard.
Open the downloaded app to see your own devices, readings and results. This website explains Ramster; the dashboard on your computer operates it.
Discover compatible Ramster instances on your local network. Connect peers and inspect the capabilities they report.
Follow CPU load, memory use and network activity from actual OS samples. Unavailable or stale readings are labeled.
Upload files to your local shared list, browse a connected peer, download or send selected files across the loop.
Run supported test workloads and inspect returned results, elapsed time and participating devices. Benchmark before assuming a speedup.
Inspect local connection information and benchmark peer throughput. Advertised Wi-Fi link rate is separate from measured transfer performance.
Request a Ramster source package from a running peer. Acceptance publishes a ZIP in its shared files for download. The Windows installer is here on the website.
Memory stays on each device. Workloads must support distribution. Ordinary applications do not automatically become faster.
Large, readable instruments. Files and app sharing a click away. Original Ramster chrome, with room for real work.
Your dashboard opens in your browser while the engine runs on your computer.
Local file transfers travel between computers. You do not need to upload your files to cloud storage first.
Review the devices in your loop and use the engine's pairing and trust controls. You decide which computers participate.
Physical memory remains on each device. Projections and impact estimates are separate from actual measurements.
Run Ramster on another compatible computer on the same network. Allow local-network access if Windows asks, then open Devices in the dashboard to discover and connect it. Discovery depends on your network and firewall configuration.
No. Distribution works with supported workloads. Ramster does not combine physical RAM or automatically accelerate arbitrary software. Use the available benchmarks to measure your own devices.
The longer-term direction is to make useful capabilities across trusted old and new devices available in one loop. Automatic file synchronization, shared filesystem mounting and distributed AI routing are future work, not current download promises.
Open Ramster from the Start Menu. The shortcut opens the running dashboard or starts the engine first. You can also open the local dashboard once Ramster is running.
If setup reports a startup error, its message points to the log in your Ramster installation folder. Do not run multiple installers at the same time.
Finish active transfers and compute before updating. Download this installer again rather than using an older saved copy. An already running Ramster session is preserved; close it normally and reopen Ramster to load the updated application.
